Organics recycling made easy is the topic of a free virtual session scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday, March 31.
Tips and tricks for simplifying organics recycling will be shared. The session is for those who already have their green bin, are considering getting one, or use drop sites.
Presenter Andrea Siegel is a Hennepin County Master Recycler Composter whose goals are to simplify the organics recycling process, motivate residents to stay committed, and provide solutions for those who need them. She’ll also help tie individual actions to the larger picture of fighting climate change.
This event is hosted by the Tangletown and South Uptown Neighborhood Associations.
To help people get started with organics composting or increase their use, 50 attendees will win countertop or freezer compost bins for pick up in Tangletown or South Uptown.
