CITGO’s Caring for Our Coast is celebrating its tenth anniversary this year. The program, which started as a yearlong project aimed at promoting coastal conservation and restoration in remembrance of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita has now expanded itself as a program to protect vulnerable coastal and inland habitats. The annual CITGO E-Recycle Day is being held in support of the program.
The recyclable materials in e-waste can become hazardous if disposed with regular garbage, CITGO noted.
