City of Fort Collins Begins New Trash and Recycling Program

SEATTLE (Recycling Monster): The City of Fort Collins, CO has begun its new residential trash and recycling program effective today. The new program will cover approximately 35,500 households.

Communities gain a great deal from the program since it offers more opportunity for collecting. Weekly recycling and a seasonal weekly yard trimming collection are included. By cutting back on the number of collection trucks, the program aims to improve safety while lowering pollution and noise levels. Additionally, the new program has clear and uniform pricing.
