Event Details

The City of Anoka's Waste Reduction & Recycling Board members encourage you to bring your recyclables to Anoka's annual Fall Recycling Event.

Items to be accepted include appliances, batteries, corrugated cardboard, electronics, fluorescent bulbs, bicycles, holiday lights, mattresses, tires, scrap metal, and more.

Please note some fees apply.

Event is open to all residents within Anoka County and small businesses within the City of Anoka.

FREE PAPER SHREDDING
Bring your private papers for shredding on site. Limit of 5 standard grocery bags or small boxes per customer.

CLOTHING FUNDRAISER/DONATIONS
Special clothing drive fundraiser for Anoka High School's Alpine Ski Team. Donate your gently used clothes, accessories (belts, hats, purses), bedding and linens. No socks, underwear, or soiled items, please.

DONATE GENTLY-USED SHOES
Accepting gently-used shoes for Soles4Souls. Partnering with Peterson Shoes of Anoka.

NOT ACCEPTED
Please...absolutely no building or construction materials (windows, doors, etc.), carpet, carpet pads, child car seats, furniture (other than mattresses), household goods (other than linens), garbage, paint, oil, propane tanks, or yard waste/compost accepted.

CARPET IS NO LONGER ACCEPTED AT THIS EVENT.

We reserve the right to refuse any materials. Please DO NOT drop off materials before or after the event.
Please pay attention to local detours due to the Hwy 10 project. Enter onto Pierce Street via 7th Ave.
