Aluminum Used Beverage Can (UBC) is a packaging container made primarily of aluminum. It is widely used for packaging carbonated soft drinks, fruit and vegetable juice, tea, sports drinks and beer.
UBC Scrap must be free from excessive dirt, liquid, other scrap metals, lids, foil, plastic, paper, glass and other non-metallic items.
Aluminum UBC is highly recyclable and is reprocessed into various aluminum products. In fact, UBC is the world’s most recycled packaging item.
price
Small-to-medium-sized scrap dealers accept used beverage cans from individuals or businesses. The dealers consolidate volumes of UBCs and sell them to larger scrap dealers who in turn bale and ship them to end users or brokers.
yards
The bulk quantities of Aluminum UBCs are baled and stored until truckload quantities are generated. The truckloads of baled UBCs are purchased by can sheet manufacturers and brokers.
