SEATTLE (Recycling Monster): As part of efforts to boost recycling efforts in the City, Boston City Counselors interacted with some of the City’s largest recycling venues. The session with representatives of various venues was hosted at Boston City Hall.

The discussion session shared ideas and possible solutions to maximize the city’s recycling efforts. The participants included representatives from Fenway, TD Garden, Boston College, and Boston Convention and Exhibition Center, who elaborated on the current techniques employed in recycling process and potential better solutions to make recycling more effective and fruitful.cessity
City Councilor Kenzie Boc the information shared by various stakeholders could help the city redesign its recycling program in such a way that the recycling systems do not send any material to trash. The discussion emphasized on the necessity to keep trash and recycling separate. It also discussed various methods by which recyclables that end in trash could be recovered.
Boc urged the venues, being some of the biggest commercial establishments in the City, to lead by example, so that every business in Boston follow suit and execute their responsibilities.
