According to Matt Armbruster, the founder and executive director of Ransom Solutions, electronics are a major source of hazardous waste, including lead and mercury. According to him, the recycling center will separate the valuable metals from the gathered e-waste and sell them separately, reintroducing the materials into the stream. By the way, Ransom Solutions has three recycling facilities located throughout the city.

Armbruster added that the business intends to work with the city for a long time. Additionally, the cooperation will offer creative solutions for the community and job chances to homeless people.

Toasters, blenders, computers, printers, and other small electronic garbage will all be accepted at the recycling facilities. Larger items, such as outdated televisions, must be sent straight to the recycling center, which is situated at 320 South Craft Hwy, Chickasaw, AL 36611.
