DENVILLE, NJ - Due to the Memorial Day holiday on Monday, this week's trash and recycling pickup schedule has been adjusted as follows:

• Tuesday: Monday’s garbage pickup
• Wednesday: Tuesday’s garbage pickup; no recycling
• Thursday: recycling (commingled -- glass, cans and plastic)
• Thursday/Friday: regular garbage pickup

Also, the recycling center is now open Thursdays and Fridays, 8 a.m.-2 p.m., and Saturdays, 8 a.m.-12 p.m. To use the recycling center, residents must show identification that demonstrates their Denville residency. The Denville recycling center is one of the first in the area to re-open. As such, recycling center workers have been instructed to perform identification checks.
