A free electronic recycling event is set to take place at Riverside High School in early August.
Franklin Township officials have announced that the recycling event will take place at the school from 2 to 6 p.m. Aug. 6. According to the event flier, no appointments are necessary and there will be a drive-up style for drop-offs.
Items accepted at the event will include computer accessories, televisions, printers, telephone equipment or old gaming systems. No fee will be required for the recycling of these items.
A list of items not accepted at the event include:
Smoke detectors
Personal hygenie equipment
Medical equipment
Loose batteries
Paper
Loose software
VCR tapes
Items deemed "general rubbish"
