BEAUFORT CO., S.C. (WTGS) — Recycling events for electronics will be held in Beaufort County for residents on Saturday, according to the Town of Hilton Head Island.

The events will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 6, at Beaufort County Public Works on 9 Benton Field Rd. in Bluffton and on 140 Shanklin Rd. in Beaufort.

Per COVID-19 guidelines, county officials are reminding residents to stay in their cars during the event.

Staff will unload electronics and will use personal protection equipment (masks and gloves).

County officials said any personal computers, laptops, CRT monitors, LCD monitors, CRT televisions, non-CRT televisions, printers, hard drives and miscellaneous electronics (microwaves, cell phones, radios, fax machines and typewriters) will be accepted.
