Celebrate Earth Day by recycling your old or unwanted electronics, including TVs, computers or anything with a cord or that runs on batteries, as well as paper that will be securely shredded.
This event will be held at Kiewit headquarters at 8900 Renner Blvd. in Lenexa. Collection will occur in the North parking lot off 89th St. As a courtesy, Johnson County staff and volunteers will be there to unload your vehicle.
All electronic items are free except TVs ($30 each) and CRT monitors ($15 each), cash and check only. Additional electronic recycling options can be found on our electronics recycling page. There is no charge for paper shredding, donations are accepted. Electronic recycling is provided by Secure E-Cycle and paper shredding by ProShred.
ScrapsKC will also be on-site accepting usable school and office supplies, which will then be available at their Kansas City location.
