Gadsden, Ala. (WBRC) - Gadsden’s recycling center has reopened, but only for limited hours.
Gadsden Recycles, which is run by the city’s public works department, collects material at a facility on Henry Street.
The center closed several months ago amid the COVID-19 outbreak.
They are currently collecting more of their usual materials, such as cardboard, newspapers, magazines, types one and two plastic, and aluminum soft drink cans.
But right now they are not accepting food cans or electronics.
The new hours are 7:30 a.m. to 2:30p.m. Monday through Friday with no after hours drop offs allowed.
