SEATTLE (Recycling Monster): Keep American Beautiful (KAB) announced that it has joined hands with The Coca-Cola Company to provide big boost to the nationwide community-led cleanup and recycling efforts, as part of the Greatest American Cleanup. By the time the nation celebrates its 250th birthday on July 4, 2026, the collaboration hopes to have collected 25 billion pieces of garbage.

The Coca-Cola Company promised funding totaling $100,000 to help Keep America Beautiful affiliates in ten states with their cleanup and recycling efforts. In total, these ten states' 14 KAB affiliates received funding. The grants will support neighborhood beautification initiatives and encourage locals to work with the company to enhance their surroundings.
Alba Baylin, Vice President, Stakeholder & Social Impact Management at Coca-Cola stated that it is proud to support an initiative that helps to create a better shared future for the communities.
Also, Jennifer Lawson, President and CEO, KAB noted that the grants will enable the affiliates to mobilize volunteers to have an even greater impact in their communities. The initiative will help to keep their environments cleaner, greener, and more beautiful, he added.
