Knauf Insulation and Indianapolis Colts Team Up, Recycle Glass

SEATTLE (Recycling Monster): Knauf Insulation, Inc. (Knauf), a family-owned business and one of the largest fiberglass insulation manufacturers in the U.S., announces its partnership with the Indianapolis Colts for the 2024 NFL season. As part of this partnership, Knauf will be the presenting sponsor of the End Zone Tailgate lot where they will be collecting glass to be recycled and repurposed in the production of Knauf’s high-quality, sustainable fiberglass insulation.

“Our employees live, work and, raise their families in the Indianapolis area, and this partnership demonstrates our support to the community,” said Knauf CEO Matthew Parrish. “We are excited to partner with the Colts to share Knauf’s story—highlighting our strong company culture, commitment to sustainability and high-quality products.”

Colts fans can look forward to Knauf-branded activations at the End Zone Tailgate lot, the preferred location for the Colts most avid tailgaters, as well as the opportunity to participate in a tailgate experience sweepstakes, Kickoff with Knauf. “The Colts are excited about our new partnership with Knauf Insulation” said Ryan Lobsiger, Vice President of Corporate Partnerships. “This collaboration not only enhances our fans’ gameday experience but also aligns with our commitment to sustainability and community involvement.”

Knauf is heavily invested in improving glass recycling rates, with the company using 800 million pounds of recycled glass in its manufacturing process annually. Not only is this glass diverted from landfills, using recycled glass reduces the amount of energy needed for manufacturing and decreases how much raw materials need to be mined.
