SEATTLE (Recycling Monster): Recycle Track Systems (RTS) - a leader in sustainable waste management services announced that it has acquired the assets of Cycle Technology, Inc.
The acquisition will result in the addition of Cycle’s reverse vending machine (RVM) technology and recycling rewards platform to its portfolio. The acquisition will boost RTS’s ongoing efforts to increase innovation by expanding recycling through various engagement programs. It will now increasingly engage fans on recycling across various events, stadiums and other commercial facilities.
Greg Lettieri, Chief Executive Officer, RTS noted that the acquisition of Cycle will provide its customers with an interactive, real-time recycling experience. Cycle will join the suite of innovative, industry-leading products, Zerowaste.com and Recyclebank to engage and educate their customers to help meet zero waste goals, he added.
Meantime, Anwar Khan, Co-founder of Cycle said that the two companies have been in collaboration since the last year on various projects. RTS’s expansive portfolio of services and clients will enable the company to expand its impact RVMs. The company looks forward to grow with Greg Lettieri and his team’s leadership, he added.
