Bullard residents are being notified of a change in their recycling collection.

On Tuesday, the city announced on Facebook that recycling collection is paused idefinitely due to a fire at Rivers Recycling in Kilgore.

The facility sustained severe damage and will be closed until further notice. Rivers Recycling was the facility used by Bullard to process recycled materials.

Rivers Recycling was the only recycling facility between Shreveport and Dallas.
