Richland County will hold a free recycling day June 27 at the S.C. State Fairgrounds.
Residents can drop off items including electronics, scrap metal, tires, household hazardous waste, paper for shredding, and cooking oil from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. Drivers will enter Gate 12 at the fairgrounds at 1200 Rosewood Drive and be directed to drop-off stations.
Drivers are asked to remain in their vehicles to maintain social distancing.
Mattresses, motor oil, wood and wooden furniture will not be accepted, and commercial or business drop-off is not permitted.
