SEATTLE (Recycling Monster): Reverse Logistics Group (RLG) announced that it has joined hands with the District of Columbia’s Department of Energy and Environment to offer free electronics recycling services. The event will offer residents, small businesses and small non-profits in Ward 7 and Ward 8 a safe and responsible opportunity to recycle unwanted and discarded electronic items.
The event will take place on Saturday, October 21st from 9 AM to 1 PM. RLG’s collection vehicle will be located in the neighbourhood of Kenilworth Rec Center Farmer's Market on Ord St NE. The participants can bring their discarded electronic devices to the truck, which will be accepted by staff for safe recycling.

The acceptable items include computers, tablets, monitors, teleisions, desktop printers, mice, keyboards, video game consoles, and cell phones. No other items will be accepted.
RLG noted that its electronics manufacturer partners are committed to making it easy for District residents to recycle unwanted electronic items, thus diverting them from landfills. It employs safe and responsible recycling techniques of highest industry standards to treat collected electronic waste during the event.
