OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) -- The City of Omaha Public Works Department has suspended recycling collection on Saturday, May, 30. This will only impact those in the Friday service area, those whose collection was moved to Saturday due to Memorial Day.
According to the release, waste management has experienced impacts to their operations due to COVID-19. They are asking residents to delay setting out their recycling until the following Friday, June 5.
This will not impact any other service areas.
