SEATTLE (Recycling Monster): Solarcycle, America’s leading solar recycling company has entered into a partnership with Canadian Solar Inc. to offer comprehensive recycling services to consumers in the United States.
As per the terms of the agreement, Canadian Solar will serve as Solarcycle’s original equipment manufacturer (OEM) partner, providing upfront recycling services as an add-on to the price at the time of purchase of solar modules. Furthermore, Canadian Solar has selected SolarCycle as its preferred recycling partner.

Commenting on the partnership, Suvi Sharma, CEO and Founder, Solarcycle said that the partnership will help the entire industry to move forward towards sustainability, under the leadership of Canadian Solar, by embedding core values into its core operations.
Meanwhile, Thomas Koerner, Senior Vice President of Canadian Solar said that the partnership with Solarcycle will enable them to offer their premium solar solutions together with critical end-of-life recycling services across the U.S.
When the contract starts to take effect and whether there are any additional recycling payments remain unclear.
This is the most recent partnership signed by Solarcycle, which has been steadily growing its presence in the U.S. Last month, it had entered into an agreement with renewable service provider RNWBL towards recycling and reusing solar panels from the latter’s commercial and industrial operations.
