SEATTLE (Recycling Monster): In honor of Texas Recycles Day, Keep Plainview Beautiful (KPB) announced that it has received a $5,000 grant from Keep Texas Beautiful. Keep in mind that KPB is the organization responsible for encouraging recycling and garbage removal throughout the city.
Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages provided the grant funds, which were disbursed to KPB affiliates. A total of $60,000 in grant funds were distributed to eight towns, including KPB. As part of Texas Recycles Day, KTB-affiliated municipalities Coppell, Dickinson, La Marque, Mission, Real County, Snyder, and Victoria are among the other recipients of this year's grant.

KPB declared that in order to guarantee efficient use of the funds, it will collaborate with the City of Plainview. The money will be used for the production of educational ads for its social media channels. Additionally, it will create instructional materials for the blue box recycling program, which the Solid Waste Department anticipates finishing by June of the following year.
According to KTB Executive Director Suzanne Kho, the communities will be empowered to significantly impact the state's sustainability initiatives with the continued support of Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages.
