With Thanksgiving just days away, waste management has announced they will be closed for the holiday.

As a result, some customers will have a delay in service.

Residents who see regular service on Thursdays in Hazlehurst, Madison County, Hinds County and Copiah County will have trash pickup on Friday. Friday customers will be serviced on Saturday.

Residents in Pearl, Richland, Brandon, Madison, Clinton, Crystal Springs, Rankin County and the City of Jackson will have trash pickup on their next regularly scheduled collection day, Nov. 29.

Recycling pickup in Madison and Clinton will be delayed to the following week on Dec. 2.

Commercial customers who are regularly serviced on Thursdays will be collected on Friday. Friday customers will be bumped back to Saturday.
