Waste Energy Corp. to Open its First Facility in Fayetteville

SEATTLE (Recycling Monster): Waste Energy Corp. intends to open its first facility in Fayetteville, the Fayetteville Cumberland Economic Development Corporation recently said. Waste plastic will be transformed into diesel fuel at the proposed factory. It is anticipated that the new facility will open later this year.

In order to construct the facility, the corporation has already signed a legally binding letter of intent to buy 26,000 square feet of heavy industrial space in the City of Fayetteville. Before it can start operating, the Fayetteville City Council must grant it a special use permission. With the ability to convert up to 30 tons of waste plastic each day, the Fayetteville facility will help address the growing problem of plastic pollution in the area.

Waste Energy Corp. converts used plastic into fuel by using pyrolysis and artificial intelligence. By heating rubber or plastic in an oxygen-free atmosphere, the pyrolysis process breaks down the molecules in the material into a mixture of char, oil, and gas. After refinement, this mixture becomes primary diesel fuel.

The corporation is probably going to put the new plant in an existing warehouse building because environmentalists have blocked similar facilities in other areas, citing concerns about air pollution.
