Zion United Methodist Church in Whitehouse has scheduled its fourth annual electronics recycling event for Jan. 23.

Items accepted during the event from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. include computers and similar electronics, cell phones and personal-display assistants, stereo equipment, video-game consoles, cameras and camcorders, scanners, projects, and memory storage devices. Household batteries will be accepted in plastic bags.

Televisions, cathode ray tube monitors, refrigerators, air conditioners, household appliances, and light bulbs will not be accepted.

The event at the 10926 Maumee St. church is free and open to the public.
