Mayor Mike Wiza says the city is seeing more and more cases of so-called ‘contaminated’ recycling, where food or other waste products makes something that could normally be recycled ineligible.
This is the ninth SERF for Seaside United Methodist Church and so far, just over 20 tons of electronic goods have been kept out of landfills and repurposed into useable goods.
