The Rome-Floyd Recycling Center will host a Household Hazardous Waste and Electronics Recycling Event on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at 412 Lavender Drive in West Rome. The event is for Rome/Floyd residents only, and will be held from 9:00AM to 3:00PM.

Appointments are required and can be made online starting August 17, or over the phone at 706-291-5266.

HHW items typically collected at these events include liquids like used motor oil, paint, herbicides and pesticides.

Electronic items typically collected include computers, televisions, recorders, and most any peripheral type equipment like printers and keyboards.
