Apex Waste Solutions Accelerates Growth in Colorado Market

SEATTLE (Recycling Monster): Colorado-headquartered Apex Waste Solutions has further consolidated its position in Colorado waste market through key acquisitions. The acquisitions have helped the company to significantly increase the number of residential as well as commercial customers serviced by it in the Front Range area.

The company had recently acquired Materials Management Co. (MMC), which has a customer base of around 30,000 in the Colorado Springs area. Also, it had acquired All American which runs a smaller scale roll-off hauling operation.

Recently, Kinderhook Industries had acquired stake in Apex Waste Solutions for an undisclosed amount. The investment has provided the company with capital and support to further accelerate growth in the regions currently covered and also to expand into new markets, by way of adding additional operational capabilities.

The winning of the $13.5 million recycling contract servicing approximately 27,000 customers in the city and county of Denver had been a major milestone in the expansion journey. The acquisition of MMC and All American further expanded its footprints in the region. The company now runs a fleet of 80 trucks operating from a total of four locations and is in competition with larger players.
