City of Valdosta Reopened 5-Points Recycling Center


SEATTLE (Recycling Monster): The City of Valdosta announced reopening of its 5-Points Recycling Center with effect from Monday, 20, November, 2023. The facility plays a significant role in the community’s commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility.

The Public Works Department urged residents to participate in the recycling program by ensuring that only appropriate items are deposited in the recycling bins. It reminded residents to keep bulk items out of the recycling bins so as to ensure that the efficiency of the recycling program is maintained.

Anthony Musgrove, Public Works Director commended the Valdosta residents for their co-operation in helping it maintain the integrity of the recycling process. It requested continued cooperation from residents to maximize the positive impact on the environment. Such efforts will make the community cleaner and environmentally safe place to live in, thereby creating a greener Valdosta.

The 5-Points Recycling Center offers convenient location for residents to reduce waste and contribute to conservation of valuable resources. The City of Valdosta remains committed to promote sustainable practices by taking advantage of the facility, the City news release stated.
