SEATTLE (Recycling Monster): Coshocton County Recycling and Litter Prevention, in association with CES Credit Union will hold an electronic and shredding day. The event is scheduled to be held at the Coshocton County Fairgrounds on Saturday, August 17 from 9 AM to 1 PM. The participants of the event are requested to enter through the main gate and follow the signs.
The event will accept documents for shredding from residents. No businesses are allowed to participate in the event. The documents for shredding will be accepted only until the truck is full. Two file size boxes per vehicle will be allowed. All clips and binders must be removed from the paper.
Also, the event will accept, at no cost, a wide range of electronic devices including Computers, laptops, printers, cables, keyboards, microwaves, VHS/DVD players and cell phones. However, there will be a fee of $5.00 per unit for computer monitors and $1.00 per diagonal inch for televisions.
James McLaughlin, Marketing Director, CES Credit Union noted that it is proud to cooperate with Coshocton County Litter and Recycling for the event. It is highly important to ensure that sensitive documents and devices containing personal and financial information are disposed of properly, he added.
