Recycle Utah to Present its Vision for a Greener Future

SEATTLE (Recycling Monster): Recycle Utah, a nonprofit, will discuss its strategies for a more environmentally friendly future. Two public meetings are planned for early January of this year to introduce the sustainability plan. During these meetings, the results of the most current strategic research will be addressed. A plan that suggests enhancing Summit County's recycling and waste diversion initiatives will also be provided.

The first of the two public meetings is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, January 7, from 6:00–7:00 PM at the Santy Auditorium (1255 Park Ave, Park City). The second meeting will be held on Thursday, January 9, from 6:00–7:00 PM at the Richins Building Auditorium (1885 W Ute Blvd, Park City). The one-hour presentation will be followed by a Q&A session.

Recycle Utah employees and Tim Loveday, the solid waste superintendent for Summit County, will be speaking at the event. At the meeting on January 7, the Resource Recycling Systems (RRS) consultants will present their findings.

Every year, Recycle Utah's numerous programs divert almost 4 million pounds of materials from landfills. But there are still issues facing the larger community. In order to shape a more sustainable future for Summit County, the meetings are intended to gather public opinions.
