SEATTLE (Recycling Monster): Republic Service announced opening of its Parker, CO hauling facility in the Town of Parker. Leaders from Republic Services, Parker, Centennial and the State of Colorado were part of the opening ceremony. The top authorities who were present at the ribbon-cutting ceremony include Parker Mayor Jeff Toborg was joined by Colorado State Rep. Anthony Hartsook and Centennial Mayor Pro Tem Tammy Maurer.

It is anticipated that the 22,000-square-foot factory will employ about 150 workers. Southern Denver, Southern Aurora, Centennial, Parker, Castle Rock, and the neighboring areas will be served by about 100 collection trucks. An EV charging infrastructure that can accommodate up to 30 electric collection trucks and five passenger cars is located on the 11-acre property. It also includes a truck wash and a repair facility with six service bays.
"The new facility in Parker is another testament to how the company invests in Colorado to partner with its customers in creating a more sustainable world," said Ryan Lawler, president of Republic Services' Northwest Area. He went on to say that the business is excited to keep investing in additional communities.
At its 20 facilities across Colorado that serves several communities, Republic Services employs approximately 1,100 people.
