Texas Disposal Systems Announced Free Christmas Tree Recycling

SEATTLE (Recycling Monster): Texas Disposal Systems (TDS), a well-known family-run resource management business, has announced that it will provide Central Texans with a free way to dispose of their live Christmas trees.

The company stated that residents could use its designated tree collection sites to drop off their unflocked Christmas trees, holly, pumpkins, and other living decorations. These materials will be recycled by the business and turned into compost or organic mulch, which will then be sold at Garden-Ville stores around Central Texas.

Lights, ornaments, metal, and other non-living contaminants must be removed from the trees and decorations, and they must be unflocked. A $55 contamination fine could be imposed for any infraction. It is necessary to tie and secure the materials that are being transported for disposal. Additionally, recycled artificial trees will not be accepted.

According to a press release, TDS has been offering its citizens environmentally friendly recycling solutions for Christmas trees and organic holiday décor for over ten years. The company contributes significantly to the reduction of landfill waste and the advancement of a circular economy by recycling these things.

Repurposing trees is an easy approach to maintain a positive environmental effect while preserving the festive spirit, according to Adam Gregory, vice president of business development at TDS. Everyone should recycle their trees, he said.
