Keep Alliance Beautiful Recycled Record Volumes in 2024

SEATTLE (Recycling Monster): A record amount of recycled materials was reported in 2024 by Keep Alliance Beautiful, a Keep America Beautiful (KAB) affiliate. In the prior year, 915,284 pounds of materials were recycled. The yearly recycling statistics showed a notable rise.

The increasing recycling volumes are a result of the hard work of recyclers in Box Butte County, the Panhandle, and the western Sandhills, as well as the committed efforts of KAB staff and volunteers. Over the course of two years, recycling volumes rose by over 72.5 tons without a corresponding increase in personnel or equipment. It processed and exported 65,990 pounds more in 2024 than the year before.
