SEATTLE (Recycling Monster): Valicor Environmental Services, North America's top supplier of centralized waste treatment and recycling services, announced that it has acquired the assets of Affordable Waste Management, Inc., a Louisville-area company that specializes in wastewater and sludge carrying operations.

In addition to expanding Valicor's ecologically conscious wastewater treatment offerings, the acquisition will increase the company's presence in the Midwest. It is anticipated that the agreement will assist Valicor in solidifying its position as the industry leader in the treatment of non-hazardous wastewater. Following this agreement, Valicor currently runs 28 plants in 14 states and recycles over 350 million gallons of wastewater annually.

Steve Hopper, Valicor's CEO, commented on the acquisition, saying the company is happy to have Affordable Waste join its growing network of treatment facilities. According to Hopper, the company's dedication to providing ecologically friendly waste treatment methods to its clients and communities would be further reinforced by the growth of its leachate processing capabilities.
