SEATTLE (Recycling Monster): The Charlestown-based Indie Cycle will host an electronic waste recycling event for residents this Saturday, 4th March, 2023, from 9AM to 12 Noon. The recycling event will be held in the parking lot of the Jamestown Golf Course, 245 Conanicus Ave.
The event will play a huge role in preserving the Johnston landfill space and reducing the dependence on the landfill. At the current daily trash rate, the landfill is expected to reach its full capacity in 2034. The recycling event will prevent burial of waste in landfills, by refurbishing and reusing them.
